Chocolate Sauce

This is an easy sauce to whip up and serve with dessert. It’s great drizzled over cheesecake, or used as a dipping sauce for fresh fruit and pretzels.

Ingredients:
2 containers of rich whip frozen non dairy creamer
1 semisweet chocolate bar broken into pieces
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
In a small saucepan over low heat, heat chocolate bar and whipping cream, stirring constantly. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and sauce is smooth. Stir in vanilla. Serve over dessert or with ice cream. Makes about 1 1/4 cups.

  • How many ounces of whip is 2 containers? Is this supposed to be liquidy or does it get harder when it cools off?

  • They are each 8 oz. It is a thick liquid when served hot, however hardens a bit as it cools and is left out on table.
