Flatbread Cracker Salad
It’s not a Shabbat meal without some version of this cracker salad! This is one bowl that is always easy to clean after the meal since everyone devours every bit of it.
Ingredients:
1 bag lettuce
1 bag cabbage
½ red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
1 box flatbread crackers, broken into pieces
Dressing:
1 tsp yellow mustard
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp lemon juice
¾ tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sugar
¾ cup olive oil
½ cup mayonnaise
Directions:
1. Combine the lettuce, cabbage, onion, tomatoes, and flatbread crackers in a large bowl.
2. In a medium sized bowl or mason jar, whisk together all dressing ingredients until smooth.
3. Pour dressing over the salad right before serving to keep everything crunchy and fresh.
