Portabella Mushroom Buns
If you want you can use chicken burgers, tofu burgers or skip the burger and simply eat the mushrooms as the burgers.
1 Onion, sliced into half thin moons
Heat up a skillet or grill pan with olive oil then saute onions until tender and browned. Once cooked, remove and add mushrooms. (adding more olive oil if needed) cook until tender. Once soft and cooked add burgers to pan and cook through. Add bbq sauce to burgers once almost cooked. Combine mayo and bbq sauce and spread over cooked mushrooms. Top with burger then onions and another mushroom. Or serve open faced over one mushroom. Optional Toppings: Avocado, Coleslaw, Tomatoes, Pickles
